		Rat Terrier

	Well to our surprise Echo finished #1 Rat Terrier for 2007. For only staying in our state showing and going to the Premier an not even campaigning he did very well. With 15 BIS and 6 RBIS’s under his belt. It has been a blast for Ray to show him. Echo has turned out very nice with many judges telling us that they can not find a fault on him and his movement is just beautiful. Also I am very proud to say that we have produced 4 of the #1 Rat Terrier since they were recognized in 2000 by UKC an many Top Ten dogs. Thank you to all the judges that have made Echo where is is. Welcome to my site. Enjoy the fun, love and pride we have for our Rat Terriers. Our goal is to provide you with useful and un-useful information about our Kennel. My name is Jo Ann Draper and my husband is Ray Draper. At this site, you will discover all about our Kennel, if you call it that, and our life with our Rat Terriers. From Show too Frisbee to couch potatoes and now Rat Killer our terriers do it all.




	Tootsie is showing her age just like me. I think we have about the same amount of white hairs.


	I love this picture. you look at some of the dogs, they are thinking “MOM do we have to”. Look at Yaya. She thinks i’m killing her. LOL But, you try to get 6 dogs to stay and get their picture taken.

We have now also expanded our Kennel with a close friends of ours and it will be our sister King Pen Kennels RnB. We both have the same goal, to produce the best quality Rat Terriers we can. We also consider ourselves to be hobby breeders. we strive to breed for conformation, for I believe that when you breed for conformation you will have a healthier happier dog in the long run.

We don’t breed our female dogs until they are 2 years old, if then. And we will only breed them once a year. If we feel that they are in perfect condition to be breed. And if we have the right male to breed too.

Yes there is a lot of show pictures and show talk but Ray and I have fun at it. It is our fun, but that is not the only things we do with our dogs. It helps you understand that you can have beauty and a working dog and a companion all in one dog. Yes, you can have it all! I know we do. They are “All in One Dogs”. 		Have a blanket of dogs. There is Louie in his spot. Then the rest of them are fighting for lap space. There iare Ka Zoo, Yaya, Tootsie, then Echo on top of them. Prince on Top of Tootsie and Razz visiting at the foot of the chair.
